Privacy Policy

On-Device Storage

Everything you create in HVACSize — projects, inputs, calculation results, notes, site photos, and your company branding — is stored locally on your device. This data is not uploaded to us and is not synced to any cloud service. It leaves your device only if you choose to export or share it using the standard iOS Share Sheet.

Optional Usage Analytics

HVACSize includes an optional "Share Anonymous Usage Data" setting. It is off by default. You can turn it on or off at any time in Settings.

When enabled, the app sends anonymous product-usage events (for example, that a calculation was run or a report was exported) along with your device model, iOS version, and app version. Events are tied to a random identifier generated on your device — not to your name, email, or Apple ID — and that identifier is reset whenever you turn the setting off. Sensitive values such as exact home size are grouped into ranges so they cannot be tied back to a specific property. We never send the contents of your projects, your notes, your photos, or your company details through analytics.

Analytics events are processed on our behalf by PostHog, using their EU-hosted infrastructure. When the setting is off, the app makes no analytics network requests at all.

Site Photos & Location

When you add a photo to a project, HVACSize removes embedded location (EXIF GPS) metadata before storing it, so saved photos do not record where they were taken. Photos remain on your device and are included only in reports you choose to export.

No Account, No Ads

HVACSize does not require you to create an account or sign in, and it contains no advertising and no advertising identifiers.

Exports

When you export a PDF report, a text summary, or your data, the content is shared via the standard iOS Share Sheet. Where you send that content is entirely your choice, and Sirius Advisory Group Ltd has no visibility into it.

Children's Privacy

HVACSize is a professional tool intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Your Choices

You control your data at all times. You can disable analytics in Settings, delete any project (which removes its inputs, results, and photos from your device), and remove the app to erase all locally stored data.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes in a future version, the updated policy will be posted at this URL and the effective date below will be updated. We will not expand data collection without updating this policy first.

Governing Law & Your Rights

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of France. If you enable analytics, the limited anonymous data described above is processed lawfully on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by turning the setting off.
